FAQ
Quick answers about marking, flipping, and bleeding through the page.
What is Battlebook?
A two-page ink duel. You place ink on your side of the book, flip, and the blot transfers mirrored onto the opponent’s page. Ink that hits a stickman eliminates them.
How do I win?
Eliminate every stickman on the other player’s page. The last squad standing wins.
Can I play alone?
Yes — choose VS Computer and pick Easy, Medium, or Hard. Or play local hotseat Multiplayer and pass the device.
Does ink size matter?
Yes. Larger blots are easier to land hits with but take up more visual space. Set ink size during squad setup.
Why do players need different ink colors?
So you can tell whose marks are whose after a flip. The game blocks matching ink colors between opponents.
Is this the same as the mobile app?
The web version ports the same core loop: mode, squad, placement, battlefield, flip combat, and victory — with click, flip, hit, and victory sound effects.
Do you collect personal data while I play?
No account is required. Sound and theme preferences stay on your device (browser local storage on the web; on-device storage in the app). See the Privacy Policy for web and app details.
